The girl laughed, showing off some of her missing baby teeth. “No, we just help out with the little things like passing out flyers, addressing envelopes, licking stamps, that sort of thing. There’s always room for more if you’re interested. It frees up Papa to do what’s important to him.”

The boy tapped the back of Tala’s pamphlet. “There’s the main office’s address. Stop by sometime. You can see how we run things.”

Tala bounced on the balls of her feet in excitement, hugging the pamphlet to her chest. “Yeah. I’ll bring my dad along.”

“Perfect.” The boy gave her a little salute before they turned to leave. “See you soon, Tala.”
